The prelay on this project was very challenging because there were over 150 penetrations required before the concrete was poured. Not a project for the faint hearted.
While the plumbing of a swimming pool is basic every pool requires a degree of ingenuity. Every pool presents it’s own challenges which we are happy to accept.
This duct was the junction point for two change rooms, which included showers, toilets and basins. The water service consisted of hot and cold water and non-potable water for the cisterns.
This was the teachers desk in one of four science labs which consisted of hot and cold water, reticulated gas and drainage.
These dormitories required a rising main to discharge some 100m from the collection point. This is the 2.5m pump pit with dual sump pumps and an alarm system.
This project while small was difficult because we had to maintain the operation of the hospital while the job was done.
As you can see this job was not only involved but also included the use of HDPE waste pipe which was all welded on site.
